I have a confession: I regularly have one-night stands. With recipes. There are so many great recipes out there, it’s hard for me to make the same thing twice. Five minutes on Pinterest and you can find tons of mouth-watering recipes created by food bloggers.
So I love trying new recipes, and fortunately, I’ve gotten pretty good over the years at judging what we will like based on the ingredients. ‘Cause nothing is worse than making an awful dish; the food goes down the drain, along with time, money and my menu plan for the week.
And when I find a recipe site that I like, I keep going back for more. And these 3 gals get a thumbs-up in my house for having dependably good recipes.
Best Gluten Free Recipes: Iowa Girl Eats
I have been a long-time IGE fan. Her recipes are fantastic, and so is her sense of humor. A couple of my favorites are Cheeseburger Pizza and Cheesy Taco Soup.
Best Paleo Recipes: Jay’s Baking Me Crazy
This site is a newer find for me, but it is a great source for Paleo and Whole30 recipes. (It is hard to make it through those 30 days without a good variety of recipes to pick from.) And her recipes are very healthy without taking like cardboard. Two of my favorites are Chicken Tenders and Chicken Salad.
Best Site for Calorie Counters & Weight Watchers: Dashing Dish
I love Dashing Dish recipes so much that I happily pay for the membership. I make her recipes all.the.time. And the membership offers exclusive recipes, as well as a meal planner and grocery list builder. Some of the recipes I make over and over again are her Overnight Oatmeal (all the flavors), Chunky Monkey Protein Shake and Zucchini Banana Protein Bread (exclusive for members).
